Men's Soccer Earns #2-Seed in Centennial Conference Tournament

(Carlisle, Pa.) - The Dickinson men's soccer team travels to Swarthmore College on Saturday to defend its Centennial Conference title as the #2-seed in the tournament. The Red Devils captured their first Centennial Conference Championship last season at Johns Hopkins' Homewood Field, outlasting Haverford in a shootout.


Top-seed Swarthmore will face the winner of the #5-Franklin & Marshall at #4-Johns Hopkins match which is scheduled for Wednesday night at 7:00 pm in Baltimore. The Red Devils will square-off against Haverford at 3:00 pm with the second semifinal scheduled for a 5:30 pm kick-off.


The Championship is scheduled for 3:00 pm on Sunday at Swarthmore.


The Red Devils improved to 12-3-2 overall and finished 7-1-1 in conference play with a 3-0 win over Franklin & Marshall in the regular season finale. It marked the eighth shutout for the Red Devils this fall.
