(Kansas City, Kan.) - Dickinson College senior captain Taylor Ferry (Wyndmoor, Pa./Chestnut Hill Academy) was selected to the NCAA Division III All-America Team, announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America on Thursday.

Ferry '12 made his second appearance on the All-Mid-Atlantic Region squad, earning Second-team honors in 2010 and First-team honors in 2011. He anchored an outstanding defensive effort for the Red Devils again this fall, serving as the team captain for the past two seasons.

He earned First-team All-Centennial Conference honors in 2010 and 2011, leading Dickinson to its first Centennial Conference title. The Devils posted a 2-0 shutout over Muhlenberg in the semifinal and played to a 1-1 draw with Haverford in the title match. The Devils captured the conference title and the NCAA automatic bid with a 3-2 decision in the penalty-kick shootout. Ferry was the Devils' final shooter, converting the game-winner to secure the title.

The Red Devils allowed less than one goal per game in each of his four seasons, ranking third in the CC in 2011 with a 0.89 goals-against-average. The Red Devils tallied eight shutouts in 2011 and 33 over the last four years. The Devils finished 11-5-5 overall, advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Ferry was also named to the 2011 Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team, announced on Thursday as well.
