Cherry Takes Game to International Level

(Carlisle, Pa.) - Rising Red Devil senior Matt Cherry (Bryn Mawr, Pa./Radnor) is representing the Dickinson College men's lacrosse team this summer as a member of the Israeli national team. The two-time All-Centennial Conference selection joined the team to compete in a European Tour and a Festival Tournament in June.

Cherry earned All-America honors in the midfield this spring, leading the Red Devils a second straight Centennial Conference title and a third consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament. He will be unable to participate in the European Championships later this year, but hopes to return to the team for the World Games in 2014.
