Men's Golf Wins Gettysburg Fall Invite

(Gettysburg, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's golf team matched scores with Messiah, but won the tie-breaker to claim the team title at the Gettysburg Fall Invitational at the Hanover Country Club on Wednesday afternoon.

The Red Devils and the Falcons each combined for scores of 319 but first-year Schuyler Leff (Bethel, Maine/Gould Academy) carded an 86 to give Dickinson the win.

Vince Warzecha (Chester Springs, Pa./Malvern Prep) led the way with a 74 to finish third overall while Charlie Zane (Guilford, Conn./Hopkins School) shot a 79 to finish fifth.

First-years Jacob Liberman (Wayne, Pa./) and Davis Kline (Rye Beach, N.H./Portsmouth Abbey) turned in rounds of 84 and 85 to help secure the win for the Devils.

The Red Devils wrap up their fall schedule, finishing strong with a second place showing on Monday and the win in today's 12-team event.
