(Allentown, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's golf team turned in a great performance at the Muhlenberg Invitational on Monday, placing second overall in the 18-team event. The Red Devils finished just three strokes behind the Mules on their home course at the Lehigh Country Club.
Sophomore Charlie Zane (Guilford, Conn./Hopkins School) was one stroke back of medalist Daniel Eidman, finishing with a 72.
First-year Tyler Caballero (Lutherville, Md./St. Paul's) and senior Jake Kessel (Woodcliff Lakes, N.J./Pascack) both carded rounds of 77 while Vince Warzecha (Chester Springs, Pa./Malvern) finished with a 79. Senior Ryan Kowash (Kennett Square, Pa./Unionville) had a solid round as well, coming in with an 85.
The Red Devils combined for a score of 305 to finish three strokes behind Muhlenberg, tying Moravian College for second.
The Red Devils return to the links on Thursday, traveling to the Gettysburg Invitational at the Hanover Country Club.
