Red Devils Capture Second at Gettysburg Spring Invitational

(Gettysburg, Pa.) – The Dickinson College men's golf team finished second at the Gettysburg Spring Invitational on Wednesday afternoon. The host Bullets captured the team title with a score of 310. The Red Devils finished strokes back with a 318 for the day.

Junior Arthur Worthington (Owings Mills, Md./Gilman) tied for third with a round of 77, finishing just five strokes back of the medalist.

Sophomore Mike Deming (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) and first-year Linn Worthington (Owings Mills, Md./Gilman) tied for eighth, each turning in a score of 80.

All five Red Devils finished in the top 15 for the tournament. Chris Noonan (Durham, N.C./Cardinal Gibbons) tied for 11^th with an 81 and senior Tucker Joyce (Chevy Chase, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chase) shot an 82 to tie for 15^th.

Messiah College's Matt Burkhart earned medalist honors with an even par round of 72.

The Red Devils travel to the McDaniel College Shootout at Westminster National this weekend.
