Devil Men 11th at McDaniel Invitational

(Westminster, Md.) - The Dickinson College men's golf team placed 11th at the McDaniel Spring Invitational over the weekend. Skidmore College edged St. John Fisher, 609-610, to capture the team title in the 18-team event. The Red Devils combined for scores of 323 and 325 for a total of 648.
Senior Tucker Joyce (Chevy Chase, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chase) led the Devils on Sunday with a round of 80 to finish with a 164. Arthur Worthington (Owings Mills, Md./Gilman) was the low-man with a 162 for the Tournament, shooting rounds of 74 and 88.
First-year Linn Worthington (Owings Mills, Md./Gilman) had a 164 as well, carding a pair of 82's on Saturday and Sunday. Classmate Chris Noonan (Durham, N.C./Cardinal Gibbons) turned in a 165 (83-82), and sophomore Mike Deming (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) came in with a 171 (90-81).
The Red Devils are scheduled to play in the McDaniel Shootout on April 14th at Westminster National.
