(Lancaster, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's basketball team dropped a 67-53 decision at Franklin & Marshall on Wednesday night.

The Red Devils played well early behind strong play from first-year Adam Drummond (Cork, Ireland/Taft School, Conn.) and senior Elijah Wright (Orange, N.J./The Pennington School) to take a 10-6 lead. Drummond knocked down his second triple of the night to put Dickinson up, 13-12, at the 12:46 mark.

The Diplomats strung together a 15-straight run before Ryan Devine (New Egypt, N.J./New Egypt) hit his second three-pointer of the night to break up the run.

The Red Devils trailed by 10 at the break and F&M kept the lead between 8-10 for the opening six minutes of the second half.

Junior Mike Jurzynski (Pearl River, N.Y./The Master's School) cut the lead to seven on three separate occasions, but the Diplomats kept responding to keep the advantage.

Ignas Slyka knocked down a three-pointer to give F&M a 60-45 lead with 5:24 to play in regulation. The Diplomats kept some breathing room and would come away with the win, improving to 4-2 overall and 1-1 in the Centennial Conference.

Drummond led the Red Devils with 11 points, five rebounds and two steals. Jurzynski reached double-figures with 10 points while Devine finished with eight points on the night.

Senior Mike Hinckley (Bryn Mawr, Pa./Episcopal Academy) tallied four rebounds, three assists and two steals, and Bryce Allen (Albany, N.Y./The Hill School) added six steals, three rebounds and two assists.

The Red Devils slip to 1-5 overall and 1-1 in the conference. They are on the road again on Saturday, traveling to Ursinus College for a 1:00 pm tip-off.
