Red Devils Suffer Setback at Lebanon Valley

(Anneville, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's basketball team suffered an 86-55 setback at Lebanon Valley College on Monday night.

The Dutchmen opened with a 19-6 run and jumped out to a 42-29 advantage at halftime. They outscored the Red Devils, 44-26, after the break to improve to 8-2 on the season.

Sam Light led all scorers with 32 points on the night, going 9-for-10 from the free throw line.

Bryce Allen (Albany, N.Y./The Hill School) led the Red Devils with 14 points. First-year Chas Battaglia  (Sterling, Va./Langley) hit at trio of three-pointers and a free throw to reach double-figures with 10 points.

Justus Melton (Charlotte, N.C./Covenant Day) tallied seven points and six rebounds while Mike Hinckley (Bryn Mawr, Pa./Episcopal Academy) added nine points, three rebounds and a pair of assists.

The Red Devils slip to 5-3 on the season. They return home to face York College on Tuesday night at 7:00 pm.
