(Carlisle, Pa.) - The opening round of the 2013 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship brought an unprecedented level of excitement to the Kline Center at Dickinson on Saturday night. The Red Devils, quite literally stormed out of the gates, opening an early lead on visiting Marietta College.

The Devils went on to an 80-65 victory behind 32 points from junior Adam Honig (Chappaqua, N.Y./Horace Greeley) and 20 from sophomore Gerry Wixted (Moorestown, N.J./Lawrenceville School).

The Red Devil fans stormed the court at the end of the game. But, in light of recent controversy over the age-old tradition, did so in as safely and orderly a fashion as could be expected. The Dickinson staff, students and community made the night a truly memorable experience as more than 1500 people packed the Kline Center.

Below are links to highlights from Saturday night's game, including a thundering dunk by sophomore Chris Cox (Dix Hills, N.Y./Half Hollow Hills West) and video of the postgame celebration.
