#13-Ranked Bullets Hold Off Devils 1-0

(Gettysburg, Pa.) - The Dickinson College field hockey team suffered a tough road loss at #13-ranked Gettysburg, falling 1-0 on Tuesday afternoon.
The teams played scoreless through the first 50 minutes of action before Gettysburg's Lexie Hearn tallied the game-winning goal at the 50:20 mark. |

The 13th-ranked Bullets held the Devils without a shot, holding a 14-0 advantage and forcing 17 penalty corners while allowing just one in each half, defensively.
Senior Amanda West (Harleysville, Pa./North Penn) turned away six shots for the Devils.
The Bullets improve to 12-4 overall and 6-2 in the Centennial Conference. The Red Devils slip to 6-10 overall and 4-5 in the conference. They return home to face Washington College on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
