Coach Maxwell returns for his second season wtih the Red Devil coaching staff. A 2010 graduate, Maxwell had an outstanding playing career at Dickinson, anchoring the secondary and serving as a team captain in 2009.

Maxwell helped the Red Devils post a 31-11 record during his four seasons, advancing to the NCAA Division III Playoffs in 2006. He was selected the Most Valuable Player in the Devils' 2007 ECAC Southeast Championship victory over Waynesburg. He was voted the team's Defensive MVP in 2009, and also honored with the distinguished Jimmy McGeehan Wear'in the Red Award in 2009 as well.

Maxwell and the Red Devils captured the program's ninth Centennial Conference Championship in 2006 and were 8-0 in rivalry games during his playing career. He recorded 208 tackles and ranks fifth in school history with 15 interceptions for over 100 yards.
