Mitchell Runs, Throws to Centennial Player of the Week Honors


(Carlisle, Pa.)- Senior quarterback Ian Mitchell (Newtown Square, Pa./Malvern) was named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week, following an outstanding performance in Dickinson's 52-47 win over Grove City.

Mitchell completed 21-of-27 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 149 yards and two more scores on the ground. His 437 yards of total offense was the second-highest in school history and the fourth best performance in the history of the conference.

Juniors Pete Hamill (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown West)and Gordon Craig (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) were named to the Defensive and Special Teams honor rolls, respectively.

Dickinson welcomes Hobart College to Biddle Field for the home opener on Saturday afternoon. Kick-off is set for 12:00 pm.
