Mitchell Earns Second CC Football Player of the Week Honor

Mitchell turned in another monster performance on Saturday, leading the Red Devils to a 45-43 win at Franklin & Marshall.
Mitchell rushed for 179 yards on just 20 carries, scoring a pair of touchdowns. He broke the Centennial Conference rushing record for yards by a quarterback, running for 2,046 in his career.
Mitchell averaged a remarkable 8.8 yards per carry on the day. He also completed 9-of-14 passes for 104 yards and two more scores. He set the school record for career passing yards, reaching 3,895. He replaces Stanley Abromavage's '86 record of 3,840.
The Red Devils improve to 3-0 on the season, keeping the Conestoga Wagon for the sixth straight year with a 45-43 win over Franklin & Marshall.
The Red Devils return home to face McDaniel College on Saturday. Kick-off is set for 1:30 pm.
