Dickinson men's lacrosse will host the program's 12th annual Volleyball-A-Thon this weekend, a 24-hour event that raises funds to support the Central Pennsylvania Region of the American Red Cross.
"The Dickinson men's lacrosse program is excited to host our 12th annual Volleyball-A-Thon. Our young men embrace the opportunity to make a difference in our community and have found this to be a fun and creative way to raise money for our local Red Cross," said men's lacrosse head coach Dave Webster '88.
The Volleyball-A-Thon will take place at the sand volleyball courts, located on campus at West Louther Street. Team registration, and donation opportunites are available at the venue.
Play begins at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 20th and goes until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday October 21st.
"We welcome Dickinson students and the entire Carlisle community to get involved by donating or participating in the volleyball action," Webster expressed. "We are grateful for the support of many local restaurants who provide food and drink throughout this fantastic 24-hour event."
